Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the www.kikunagadojo.com website and prior to training at our dojo. 

RIGHT TO REFUSE

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

The first month of training is considered an evaluation month for every student of Kikunaga Martial Arts. By the end of your first month as a member, a dojo staff will contact you to discuss if you (or your child) are a good fit or not for the program under our sole discretion.

CHANGE OF FEES AND SERVICES

Prices for our products, class times, dates and circumstances are subject to change with little or without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify the program or discontinue a partnership with a customer for any reason.

All fees are non-refundable in whole or in part for any reason. If a student takes temporary leave of absence due to medical reasons only (medical note proof required), their fees will be held as credit upon their return. There will be no fees refunded if the student decides not to return permanently. Furtheremore, there will be no fees refunded in case of a COVID-19 outbreak or goverment mandate lockdowns, however, online classes may  or may not be provided during those times. Fees are non-transferable in whole or in part. Any and all fees are subject to change at any time.

Your access to and use of our Services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use our Services.

By accessing or using our Services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you do not have permission to access our services. 

LATE FEES

It is a member's full responsibility to add a reminder to their calendars of their membership payment due date, either if you are paying by paypal, e-transfer or cash.

In the event that a member of the dojo shall fail to pay the their Membership Fee on or before the day the payment is due, there shall be late fees added to such unpaid amount beginning with the date the invoice was due. There will be a twenty-five dollar ($25) + HST late fee added to the unpaid amount thirty (30) days after the date the payment was due. The late fee will be added in order to compensate management for the extra administrative expenses incurred in collecting delinquent accounts. The late fee may be adjusted periodically by management.  

TERMINATION

Kikunaga Martial Arts reserves the right to remove a student from our programs at any time, without notice for justifiable reasons such as: poor attendance, incompatible, misconduct in the dojo, as well as outside of the dojo or if the student is deemed to require individual assistance or instruction beyond the scope of our regular programming.

We may terminate or suspend your membership and access to the dojo immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your membership,  you may simply discontinue using our services.

CHANGES  

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.  What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
